Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the state government is consistently making efforts to further strengthen the police force and improve internal security. He stated that in recent years, recruitment processes have been carried out in a transparent, fair, and time-bound manner, and the government is now moving forward with another major initiative in the same direction.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister highlighted that over the last 9 years, more than 2.20 lakh police personnel have been successfully recruited across the state. He pointed out that this achievement is not just about numbers, but reflects a significant transformation in the law and order system, aimed at ensuring better safety, efficiency, and public trust.
उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कहा कि राज्य सरकार पुलिस बल को और अधिक सशक्त बनाने तथा आंतरिक सुरक्षा को मजबूत करने के लिए निरंतर प्रयास कर रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि पिछले कुछ वर्षों में भर्तियों को पारदर्शी, निष्पक्ष और समयबद्ध तरीके से पूरा किया गया है, और अब उसी दिशा में आगे बढ़ते हुए एक और बड़ा कदम उठाया जा रहा है।
अपने संबोधन में मुख्यमंत्री ने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि बीते 9 वर्षों में राज्य में 2.20 लाख से अधिक पुलिस कर्मियों की सफलतापूर्वक भर्ती की जा चुकी है। उन्होंने जोर देते हुए कहा कि यह केवल एक संख्या नहीं है, बल्कि कानून-व्यवस्था को मजबूत करने, सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाने और जनता का भरोसा बढ़ाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण उपलब्धि है।
UP Police Recruitment Drive: 1 Lakh Posts Expected
The Chief Minister clarified that the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) is planning to conduct nearly 1 lakh new recruitments this year. These vacancies will include Civil Police, various specialized units, and Home Guard positions at multiple levels. However, the detailed notification, including post-wise vacancies, eligibility criteria, and application dates, will be released officially very soon.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also stated that recently, the UPPRPB successfully completed the recruitment process for 60,244 male and female constable posts. All selected candidates have been trained at training centers within Uttar Pradesh, and appointment letters have been distributed with postings across different regions of the state.
Following the completion of the constable recruitment, the state government also initiated a major Home Guard recruitment drive for around 41,000 posts. After the application process, written examinations for these positions were conducted on 25, 26, and 27 April. He emphasized that these steps clearly reflect the government’s commitment to strengthening not only the police force but all departments related to public safety and security in the state.
मुख्यमंत्री ने स्पष्ट किया कि उत्तर प्रदेश पुलिस भर्ती एवं प्रोन्नति बोर्ड (UPPRPB) इस वर्ष लगभग 1 लाख नई भर्तियां करने की तैयारी कर रहा है। इन भर्तियों में सिविल पुलिस, विभिन्न इकाइयों तथा होमगार्ड सहित कई स्तरों पर नियुक्तियां की जाएंगी। हालांकि पदों का विस्तृत विवरण, पात्रता मानदंड और आवेदन तिथियों से संबंधित आधिकारिक अधिसूचना जल्द ही जारी की जाएगी।
मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने यह भी बताया कि हाल ही में UPPRPB द्वारा 60,244 पुरुष एवं महिला कांस्टेबल पदों की भर्ती प्रक्रिया सफलतापूर्वक पूरी की गई है। चयनित अभ्यर्थियों को उत्तर प्रदेश के ही प्रशिक्षण केंद्रों में ट्रेनिंग दी गई और इसके बाद उन्हें नियुक्ति पत्र प्रदान कर राज्य के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में तैनात किया गया।
इसके अलावा, कांस्टेबल भर्ती प्रक्रिया पूर्ण होने के बाद राज्य सरकार ने लगभग 41,000 होमगार्ड पदों पर भी भर्ती प्रक्रिया शुरू की। आवेदन प्रक्रिया के बाद इन पदों के लिए 25, 26 और 27 अप्रैल को परीक्षाएं सफलतापूर्वक आयोजित की गईं। उन्होंने कहा कि यह सभी कदम इस बात का संकेत हैं कि राज्य सरकार केवल पुलिस ही नहीं, बल्कि सुरक्षा से जुड़े हर विभाग को मजबूत करने के लिए लगातार प्रयास कर रही है।
